On september13,2005, Singapore - GE Energy Group will provide three hydropower units for China's newly-built hydropower plants

according to three people

this new power plant is subordinate to Sichuan Huaneng Baoxinghe Power Co., Ltd. and is a wholly-owned subsidiary of China Huaneng Group, one of China's largest energy companies

ge energy will provide three 65000 kW Francis turbines with water level difference ranging from 304 m to 345 M. The contract signed by Ge also includes the provision of valves, spare parts and personnel training

Dr. Stephan Deutsch, head of the global activity center of the HPM Business Department of general LANXESS group company, located in Xiaoshan District, Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province, said that Geha would manufacture and provide all hydraulic turbine generator sets, valves, related accessories and training. The equipment installation will be carried out at the project site from April, 2006. It is expected that the three units will be put into commercial operation in October 2007, January 2008 and April 2008 respectively

it is estimated that the annual power generation capacity of the new power plant will reach 957million kwh, which can help the region meet the growing power demand
